They have been to a social club that begins in the nursery, follows to children's church, and then junior church. They see 'big church' as the place for an older generation where worship is entirely different. They don't know the songs of real church. They don't have the patience to sit through a regular length sermon. they haven't learned anything except how to sing ridiculous little dittys, and how to 'feel good'. Basic Bible doctrine and theology have never been taught. I say cut out the garbage and teach children the Gospel from day one. The regular church sermon should be heard in the nursery. Children should be in regular church from the day they are out of the nursery. If the preacher doesn't like it then find a preacher who does.
